Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team, elevate our dining offerings, and ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety. This role requires a visionary leader with extensive culinary experience, strong team management skills, and a commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences in a fine dining environment. The Executive Chef will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu planning and food preparation to inventory control and staff supervision.
The Gallery has a great work-life balance with dining hours going until 9pm.
Duties
Lead the development and execution of innovative menus that align with the property’s brand and guest expectations
Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety standards
Manage food production processes, including catering, banquets, and restaurant service, maintaining high-quality standards
Oversee inventory management and control to minimize waste while ensuring ingredient availability for all service periods
Train, mentor, and supervise culinary staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on excellence
Maintain compliance with health regulations and safety protocols across all kitchen activities
Coordinate shift management, ensuring smooth transitions between meal periods and special events
Requirements
Proven experience in fine dining establishments with strong background in food preparation and restaurant management
Extensive banquet experience coupled with supervisory roles overseeing culinary teams
Knowledge of dietary department standards, food safety regulations, and inventory control practices
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff in a fast-paced environment
Strong background in food industry operations including catering, menu planning, kitchen management, and food handling
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food production and service delivery
Culinary certification or equivalent professional training is preferred
