Retail Assistant (Part-Time)

Job Description Summary The Retail & Member Experience Specialist is responsible for delivering a high-end, personalized shopping experience on the floor during peak hours at Loch Lloyd Country Club. This role supports daily operations as well as club events, ensuring members and guests receive exceptional service at all times. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide elevated, personalized service to members and guests on the retail floor during peak hours Proactively engage members, offering styling suggestions and curated product recommendations Maintain strong awareness of member preferences to anticipate needs and enhance the shopping experience Support retail operations during daily club activity and special events Ensure the shop presentation is consistently refined, organized, and fully merchandised Process transactions with accuracy, discretion, and efficiency (cash, credit, member accounts) Maintain and update inventory records within the point-of-sale and inventory management system, ensuring accuracy and integrity of stock data Assist with receiving merchandise, including verification, documentation, and inventory reconciliation Communicate current collections, featured items, and promotions with a polished and knowledgeable approach Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless execution during peak service periods Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown as it relates to retail operations Represent the club with professionalism, discretion, and a hospitality-first mindset PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Polished, professional, and welcoming demeanor Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to remain composed and attentive in fast-paced, high-traffic environments Detail-oriented with a strong sense of presentation and organization Service-driven mindset with a passion for creating exceptional member experiences Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Must be at least 16 years old Previous retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience preferred Experience in luxury retail, private clubs, or event environments is a plus Basic technology and point-of-sale familiarity Reliable transportation PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand and move throughout the shift, especially during peak hours and events Frequent bending, lifting, and restocking (up to 25 lbs occasionally) Ability to work indoors and outdoors depending on event needs Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during club events Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Work Location: In person
