Retail Assistant (Aquatics)

## ☀️ Summer Job: Aquatics Retail Assistant Work poolside all summer long with Bald Head Island Club. We’re hiring Aquatics Retail Assistants to help run our poolside shop and support daily operations at our private club. This role is ideal for high school and college students who enjoy customer service, staying active, and working in a fun, social environment. You will be paid $15.00 - $17.00 / hr and this is a Seasonal, full-time position. Schedule details include 35–45 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays. Overtime is possible during peak season. Retail and poolside duties include: - Greeting members and guests with a friendly, positive attitude - Helping shoppers find swimwear, sunscreen, pool toys, and more - Running the register and processing transactions accurately (comfortable operating a register/POS system is required) - Restocking merchandise and keeping displays looking great - Answering basic questions about pool amenities and programs - Helping with towel distribution and deck organization - Assisting during busy pool hours and special events - Keeping the retail area clean, organized, and welcoming - Supporting aquatics staff as needed You’ll play a key role in creating an awesome, stress-free pool day for our members. Expect to be working outdoors in a poolside retail setting: sunshine, energy, lots of interaction with members and guests, and being on your feet as part of a supportive team.
