Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Golf Cart Mechanic to join our dynamic team! This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a passion for vehicle repair, especially in the realm of golf carts, all-terrain vehicles, and powersports equipment. As a key player in our service department, you will leverage your extensive mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of electric and gas-powered golf carts and related vehicles.
Your technical proficiency, combined with excellent customer service skills, will ensure our clients receive top-tier service and reliable equipment.
Duties
Perform comprehensive diagnostics on golf carts, all-terrain vehicles, and powersports engines using advanced diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
Conduct repairs on automotive engine systems, including troubleshooting electrical diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, brake repair, suspension work, and engine overhauls.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and assembly tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components efficiently.
Service and maintain vehicle systems such as brakes, suspension components, electrical wiring, motors, and powertrain assemblies to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks required for vehicle repairs while adhering to safety protocols.
Diagnose issues related to automotive diagnostics and perform basic troubleshooting to identify root causes swiftly.
Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and maintenance procedures while providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive or powersports repair.
Demonstrated expertise in automotive engine system repair with a strong understanding of electrical diagnostics and mechanical systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools for automotive diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with all-terrain vehicle repair, motorcycle operation, welding, soldering, suspension work, brake repair, and vehicle assembly.
Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with heavy lifting and the use of various hand tools and power tools.
Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting quickly and accurately under pressure.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
Valid experience in dealership or automotive repair environments preferred; certifications in automotive or powersports repairs are a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
