Description:
Job Purpose: The AIT is responsible for assisting the golf course superintendent and assistants with the maintenance, operation and management of the golf course on a daily basis.
Duties:
Assist in the supervision and training of the golf course maintenance staff in various required tasks on a daily basis.
The proper mixing, disposal, and application of fertilizers and pesticides based on Superintendent’s agronomic program.
Assist in the storage and record keeping of pesticides, fertilizers, and soil amendments.
Successfully managing and completing projects that are assigned by the Superintendent and Assistants.
Assist Superintendent and Assistants with any golf course related duties at any time.
Assist in daily course setup and conditioning.
Requirements:
Previous Internship experience required.
Two- or Four-year turf related degree
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
