Line Cook – The Grill at Desert Canyon Golf Club

The Grill at Desert Canyon Golf Club is relaunching on November 1 with a new menu and a new direction. Most of the menu is fresh and never frozen, with simple, high-quality food built on local ingredients, and we want The Grill to be a destination in its own right, not just a stop between nines. We’re building a small, tight kitchen team and are looking for line cooks who take pride in clean, consistent plates.

What you’ll do

Work the line during lunch and evening service: grill, flat-top, fry, and sauté stations Prep daily mise en place to spec and keep your station stocked through service Cook to recipe and plating standards so every ticket goes out the same way Follow proper food safety, labeling, and rotation (FIFO) practices Help with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, breakdown, and inventory counts Pitch in on breakfast, grab-and-go, and limited-time specials as needed

What we’re looking for

1+ year of line cook experience (high-volume or scratch kitchen is a plus) Comfortable on a lean team where everyone owns their station Reliable, on time, and able to work weekends and holidays Food Handler card required (or obtained within 30 days); ServSafe is a plus Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs

Schedule

Open 7 days, with AM and PM shifts Kitchen runs until 8 pm Thursday through Saturday and until 5 pm on other days Training begins before the Nov 1 launch
