Program Coordinator

The MAPGA Section is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support all Section and Foundation (PGA REACH Middle Atlantic) program operations. The Section’s Program Coordinator will play a key role in executing PGA HOPE program including the PGA HOPE Tour, and other Section and Foundation programming events.

A key component of this role will include managing and executing two growing areas of the Foundation: the PGA HOPE Program and PGA HOPE Tour . The position requires travel to most events and the ability to manage various aspects of event operations. The individual working in this position shall act on behalf of the Middle Atlantic Section of the PGA of America and report to the Assistant Executive Directors and Executive Director.

Organization: The Middle Atlantic PGA Section (MAPGA), located in Stafford, Virginia, is one of 41 Sections of the Professional Golfers' Association of America. The PGA of America, formed in 1916, has grown into the world's largest working sports organization with more than 32,000 members and associates. Its mission is to promote enjoyment and involvement in the game of golf and to contribute to the game's growth by providing services to golf professionals and the industry.  The MAPGA has been a part of the PGA since 1925, and consists of approximately 1,250 golf professionals in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC.
