Lincolnshire Country Club is seeking a skilled and dependable Equipment Technician / Mechanic to join our golf course maintenance team.

This position is responsible for maintaining, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of golf course maintenance equipment, vehicles, and small engines. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping equipment safe, reliable, and ready to perform at a high level throughout the season.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on golf course equipment.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and small-engine issues.

- Maintain and repair mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, turf equipment, and other maintenance equipment.

- Perform oil changes, belt and filter replacements, lubrication, adjustments, and other scheduled maintenance.

- Troubleshoot equipment problems and complete repairs efficiently.

- Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.

- Maintain a clean, organized equipment shop.

- Prepare and service equipment for seasonal use and winter storage.

- Assist with equipment setup and preparation for the golf course season.

- Work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and maintenance staff to ensure equipment needs are addressed promptly.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as an equipment technician, mechanic, or in a similar position preferred.

- Experience working with golf course or turf maintenance equipment is a plus.

- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

- Knowledge of gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and basic welding is preferred.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

- Valid driver’s license.

- Ability to lift equipment parts and perform physical work as required.
