Equipment Manager / Mechanic

Equipment Technician / Mechanic Lincolnshire Country Club is seeking a skilled and dependable Equipment Technician / Mechanic to join our golf course maintenance team.

This position is responsible for maintaining, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of golf course maintenance equipment, vehicles, and small engines. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping equipment safe, reliable, and ready to perform at a high level throughout the season.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on golf course equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and small-engine issues. Maintain and repair mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, turf equipment, and other maintenance equipment. Perform oil changes, belt and filter replacements, lubrication, adjustments, and other scheduled maintenance. Troubleshoot equipment problems and complete repairs efficiently.

Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs. Maintain a clean, organized equipment shop. Prepare and service equipment for seasonal use and winter storage. Assist with equipment setup and preparation for the golf course season. Work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and maintenance staff to ensure equipment needs are addressed promptly. Qualifications

Previous experience as an equipment technician, mechanic, or in a similar position preferred. Experience working with golf course or turf maintenance equipment is a plus. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and basic welding is preferred. Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Valid driver's license. Ability to lift equipment parts and perform physical work as required. What We Offer
