About the position

Ensures driving range golf balls are clean, stocked, and readily available for customer use. Represents the facility professionally as a marshal/starter by managing tee time efficiency and enforcing course rules to enhance the player experience.

Responsibilities

Performs starter duties on tee box.Acts as marshal on course and helps out in any area requested by the supervisor.Starts golfers and checks turn times.Patrols golf courses to ensure patrons maintain pace of play and follow rules.Stages golf carts as needed.Communicates in a friendly, responsive and professional manner to customers and co-workers.Cleans and maintains exterior restrooms and water stations.Frequently operates a personal or City-owned motor vehicle to drive to and from work locations throughout the City.Requirements

Ability to use good judgment.Ability to work independently.Ability to maintain a clean and neat appearance.Ability to maintain adequate attendance.Ability to follow instructions.Ability to effectively communicate information, both verbally and in writing, to support organizational objectives and interact with all levels of personnel within the city in a positive and cooperative manner.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.A valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.High School/GEDMust be at least 18 years of age.Nice-to-haves

Previous golf course experience preferred.Benefits

Temporary, Variable Hour and Health Plan Eligible employees will earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum cap of 48 hours.
