Responsibilities: Manage and lead a team of golf professionals, assistants, and outside service staff, fostering a culture of exceptional service and teamwork. Oversee daily golf operations, including tee time management, player assistance, and pace of play monitoring. Develop and implement comprehensive golf instruction programs for players of all skill levels, including private lessons, clinics, and group workshops. Organize and execute successful golf tournaments, member events, and corporate outings, ensuring seamless planning and execution. Manage the pro shop inventory, merchandise selection, and sales, ensuring profitability and alignment with resort brand standards. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers for equipment, apparel, and other golf-related needs. Collaborate with the course superintendent to ensure the highest standards of course conditioning and playability. Develop and manage the annual golf budget, controlling expenses and maximizing revenue streams. Implement and enforce all club policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. Promote the golf club and resort amenities to potential members and guests through various marketing initiatives. Serve as a brand ambassador for the resort, embodying professionalism, etiquette, and a passion for the game of golf. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in golf operations and instruction. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and any operational challenges with professionalism and efficiency. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the golf staff. Contribute to the overall strategic planning and success of the resort's recreational offerings. Qualifications: PGA or LPGA Class A certification required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Head Golf Professional or Assistant Golf Professional role, preferably in a high-end resort or club setting. Proven track record of successful golf instruction and program development. Demonstrated leadership and staff management capabilities. Strong business acumen, including experience with budgeting, inventory management, and marketing. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Proficiency in golf operations software (e.g., Jonas, Lightspeed). A passion for golf and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of the game.
