Ae Game Golf is a premier indoor golf facility dedicated to instruction and helping golfers of all levels develop their skills and passion for the game. We focus on creating a welcoming environment where players can learn, improve, and fall in love with golf.
Position Overview
We are seeking an aspiring PGA Professional to join the Ae Game Team as an Apprentice Golf Instructor. This individual will work alongside our experienced Director of Instruction, Ae Cahill, who will provide mentorship and support as you develop your coaching skills and client base.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newer coach to gain instruction experience and grow their career while working with diverse clientele in a state-of-the-art indoor facility.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction
Conduct adult and junior golf lessons for clients of varying skill levelsHelp beginner golfers develop fundamental skills and passion for the gameUtilize TrackMan simulator technology and SAM PuttLab putting software for lesson instructionCreate positive learning experiences that encourage continued engagement with golfSales & Business Development
Promote membership sales and lesson packagesEngage with walk-in clients to promote services and programsEducate clients on golf equipment including clubs, balls, and accessoriesDrive product sales through knowledgeable recommendations and customer serviceFacility Operations
Open and close the facility as neededManage front desk operations including client check-in and simulator bay setupMaintain facility cleanliness and perform minor equipment repairsAssist with budget preparation, revenue tracking, and operational reporting as neededClient Relations
Build lasting relationships with clients to encourage retention and referralsServe as a knowledgeable resource for equipment-related questionsSupport club fitting and putter fitting processesQualifications
Required
Interest in a career in the golf industryAvid golfer, previous experience with competitive golfNo prior golf instruction experience requiredFamiliarity with TrackMan or other golf simulator technologyKnowledge of current golf equipment across various manufacturersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred
Interest in becoming a PGA MemberPrevious coaching experiencePrevious retail/sales experience in golf industryClub fitting experienceActive social media presenceWhat We're Looking For
