## Overview

This position reports to the Sales and Service Manager and is based in our Northbrook, IL store.
### What this role does day-to-day
You will be the STUDIO Golf Instructor responsible for providing world-class service by engaging with every customer and building lasting relationships. You are expected to hit key performance indicators including lessons taught, booking percentage, and clinic participation while proactively growing your business and keeping a full schedule. You will organize and execute clinics and events, develop custom lesson plans, and track student progress.
You will use technology to deliver lessons, including Trackman, Sam Putt Lab, USchedule, and Microsoft Office. This role also requires maintaining a working knowledge of Front
- End operations such as returns, exchanges, gift cards, lesson redemptions, loyalty program awards, discounts, promotions, and coupons. The STUDIO area (Simulators, Components Drawer, & Putting Green) should be kept at premiere visual standards, with all equipment and supplies maintained and operational.
You will maintain in-depth product knowledge of various golf clubs and explain features, benefits, and differences to customers. Demonstrating ethical conduct, safety, and compliance across departments is expected. Keep up to date on merchandising promotions and marketing events and be a champion of our product and service offerings, informing, educating, and promoting to customers. Provide consistent feedback to your Manager on operational and merchandising opportunities.
### Skills, experience, and requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 2+ years of golf teaching experience preferred. Experience with Trackman, SAM Putt Lab, and club building is highly preferred.
Communication: Strong listening and interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication; able to communicate cross-functionally.
Computer: Basic computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Organization: Able to organize multiple priorities to meet deadlines and objectives.
Working conditions and physical demands include standing for extended periods, climbing up and down a ladder, moving throughout the store, and lifting a 30 lb. box overhead. Schedule requires flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
You should demonstrate strong self-accountability, a proactive drive for results, and the ability to quickly learn business acumen with appropriate training.
