Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly, providing outstanding customer service and expert advice on golf equipment, apparel, and accessories
Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while adhering to cash handling procedures
Assist with organizing and managing golf events, tournaments, and special outings to ensure smooth operations
Maintain shop cleanliness, organize inventory, and restock merchandise efficiently to enhance the shopping experience
Support outdoor activities by ensuring safety protocols are followed during play and shop operations
Handle guest inquiries, resolve conflicts professionally, and manage challenging situations with tact and diplomacy
Support event venue functions by coordinating logistics, managing crowd flow, and assisting with setup and breakdown when needed
Requirements
Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments; hospitality or resort experience is a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to speak confidently in public settings or during event presentations
Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of merchandise or equipment safely
Knowledge of safety protocols such as first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and lifeguard experience is highly desirable
Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions; outdoor work experience preferred
Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately
Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience
Experience working with children or in event management is advantageous; theater or public speaking skills are a bonus
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing; attention to detail is essential
