Duties Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, chainsaws, power tools, and irrigation systems to care for fairways, greens, tees, and surrounding landscapes Maintain irrigation systems by adjusting controllers, repairing leaks, and ensuring proper water distribution across the course Perform athletic field groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote healthy turf growth Conduct landscape maintenance activities including planting, pruning, mulching, and gardening to enhance course aesthetics Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, manual handling of soil or turf materials, and using hand tools for detailed landscaping work Manage pesticide application following safety protocols and regulations to control pests and disease on the course Operate company vehicles safely for transportation of equipment or materials around the course property Maintain equipment through routine inspections and cleaning to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met Skills Proficiency with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance Experience with athletic field groundskeeping techniques and landscape maintenance practices Ability to operate ground maintenance machinery including mowers, power tools, chainsaws, and landscaping equipment safely Knowledge of pesticide management procedures adhering to safety regulations Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently Familiarity with golf course groundskeeping standards and best practices for turf health management Excellent attention to detail in gardening, lawn care, landscaping, and overall grounds upkeep Ability to operate a variety of power tools responsibly while maintaining safety protocols at all times This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about outdoor work who want to contribute their skills to a thriving golf course environment.
