Duties
Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, including cooks, chefs, and support personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Oversee food preparation, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations in both fine dining and catering settings
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices
Develop innovative menus aligned with current culinary trends while maintaining cost efficiency and operational feasibility
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests and staff
Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff effectively to meet service demands during peak hours and special events
Oversee banquet operations and catering services, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals for large events
Experience
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a professional kitchen environment, preferably with banquet or catering experience
Extensive culinary background with strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of managing diverse teams in fast-paced settings
Familiarity with inventory management systems and food handling procedures to optimize kitchen operations
Experience in fine dining establishments or upscale hospitality venues is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications relevant to the food industry
Background in restaurant management or food service management is advantageous
