• *Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks and assisting with repairs. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• *Duties**
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and property, including electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry.
• Assist with seasonal building preparation, including tent lights, A/V equipment, and door installations.
• Help with pool area maintenance.
• Repaint and maintain outdoor furniture.
• Snow removal around buildings on sidewalks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to supervise maintenance projects and ensure timely completion.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from staff or members.
• *Qualifications**
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in a maintenance, handyman, or facilities support role preferred.
• Basic skills in painting, light carpentry, general repairs, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable using ladders, hand tools, and light power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work flexible part-time hours, including occasional weekends or early mornings depending on club needs.
