We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated, and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and takes pride in maintaining high-quality facilities and grounds. Whether performing preventative maintenance, completing repairs, or assisting with seasonal projects, you will play an important role in preserving the appearance and functionality of one of the area's premier private clubs. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of general maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance tasks throughout the clubhouse, maintenance buildings, and surrounding property. The ideal candidate will have experience in several skilled trades, including basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general building maintenance. Essential Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and facilities.Complete general repairs including drywall, painting, carpentry, and minor electrical work.Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues, including faucets, toilets, sinks, and drains.Assist with basic HVAC maintenance, including filter changes and minor troubleshooting.Repair doors, locks, windows, fixtures, furniture, and cabinetry.Maintain sidewalks, parking areas, signage, and exterior structures.Perform seasonal maintenance, including snow removal and storm cleanup when needed.Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment safely.Respond promptly to maintenance requests from departments.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Assist with special projects, event setup, and facility improvements.Follow all OSHA safety regulations and Club safety procedures.Work cooperatively with all departments to ensure excellent service for members and guests.Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in general building or facility maintenance preferred.Working knowledge of:HVAC systemsPlumbing repairsDrywall repair and finishingInterior and exterior paintingBasic electrical troubleshootingCarpentryExperience operating hand and power tools safely.Ability to read and follow maintenance work orders.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Valid driver's license required.Physical Requirements Ability to lift to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and power tools.Ability to respond to emergency maintenance situations when necessary.Schedule Part-Time opportunities availableFlexible schedulingSome evenings, weekends, and holidays may be requiredOvertime may be available as business needs requireBenefits Eligible employees may receive: Competitive pay based on experienceEmployee Dining DiscountFlexible SchedulingProfessional Development OpportunitiesPositive team-oriented work environmentPotential to become full-time positionWhy Join Fawn Lake Country Club?
