Golf Operations Intern

About the role As a Golf Operations Intern at Wild Rock Golf Club, you will gain hands-on experience in daily course operations, tournament execution, and guest services. You will work closely with a mentor from our management team to develop professional skills, set career goals, and learn how a professional golf facility operates. This role provides direct exposure to resort golf management and networking opportunities with PGA professionals.

What you'll do

Manage daily tasks including tee times, guest check-ins, and phone inquiries. Provide customer service at the bag drop, practice facilities, and staging areas. Assist with merchandising, inventory tracking, and point-of-sale operations. Help set up corporate and resort golf outings, including signage, scoring materials, and cart staging. Monitor course flow and pace-of-play to ensure a positive guest experience. Maintain the appearance of the first tee and practice areas. Organize the cart fleet and enforce course policies with professionalism.

What you'll need

Current enrollment in a college degree program for Golf Management, Hospitality, Sports Management, or Business. A strong work ethic and a professional, enthusiastic attitude. Genuine interest in a career within the golf or hospitality industry. Ability to communicate clearly and stay organized in a busy environment. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays. A passion for teamwork and high-quality customer service.
