Job Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring cleanliness and maintenance across our club's premises, both inside and outside. You'll be engaged in everyday cleaning routines, addressing any immediate needs, and assisting with the upkeep in areas such as restrooms, locker rooms, dining areas, and communal spaces.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
Day to Day Responsibilities Include:
• Keeping carpets spotless through regular vacuuming and spot cleaning, along with maintaining all flooring surfaces including courts, exercise rooms, stairwells, and lobby areas.
• Dusting and wiping down various surfaces such as furniture, shelves, artworks, and HVAC registers.
• Completing assigned tasks that align with club standards, ensuring that workspaces are organized and debris is cleared.
• Conducting or facilitating maintenance and repairs across various systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Developing and maintaining a checklist/schedule for preventive maintenance and ongoing improvements.
• Effectively communicating with the supervisor to prioritize and document work requests from team members and guests.
Additional Duties:
• With the dynamic nature of the club, you may assist others and take on extra tasks as directed by management.
• Adhering to all company, club, and departmental policies and procedures.
• Maintaining professionalism and excellence in your interactions with members and fellow staff.
• Following safe working practices and encouraging compliance with safety guidelines within the team.
• Taking initiative for personal and professional development, including maintaining relevant certifications.
• Resolving challenges with available resources and collaborating with corporate teams to support club operations.
• Participating in daily briefings to stay informed and contribute to team success.
About You
Required:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, housekeeping, or janitorial services, preferably in a golf club setting.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation best practices.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques for diverse surfaces and high-traffic areas.
• Background training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations and compliance regarding facility maintenance.
Physical Requirements:
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving.
• Occasional exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and fumes.
• Physical activities including squatting, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 100 lbs. when necessary.

• General Cleaning Supplies
• Broom, mop, dustpan, vacuum
• Ladder and miscellaneous tools
Work Schedule:
• Adherence to the attendance requirements outlined in your schedule.
• Willingness to work additional hours as necessary.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays when needed.
