Job Description:
As a Banquet Server, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience during events. You will be responsible for setting up and breaking down banquet spaces, serving food and beverages, and attending to the needs of guests throughout the event. This role requires a friendly and professional demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
Server Duties and Responsibilities
Greet tables promptlyAnswer questions about menu itemsAccurately take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staffFacilitate filling drink orders with the barGracefully suggest/upsell additional menu items, such as desserts and drinksOffer special assistance to patrons with specific needs, such as highchairs for childrenMemorize the menu for on-demand recitation and questions about ingredientsOperate the drink fountain and coffee stationUse the POS system to accurately calculate the patron's billParticipate in setup and teardown for eventsSide workCloseout all checks at the end of every shiftQualifications, Education, & Experience:

High school diploma or GED preferred1+ years wait staff experience preferredBasic math skillsWillingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidaysAbility to thrive in an active, noisy, and demanding environmentInterest in shift workAbility to communicate effectively with managers, employees and guests in a fast-paced environment.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often for several hours at a time.Capability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and equipment weighing up to 25-50 pounds.Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.Ability to carry and balance heavy trays with food or beverages.Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Ability to climb stairs or maneuver in tight spaces when necessary.Requires fine motor skills to handle table settings, glassware, and serving utensils.Ability to push, pull, or move carts and other banquet equipment.Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including warm kitchen areas and cooler event spaces.
