A SR golf course groundskeeper maintains the turf, landscaping, and hazards to ensure the optimal playability of the golf course. Duties include (but not limited to) mowing (greens, tees, fairways, and roughs), raking and maintaining sand bunkers, and setting hole locations. Other duties include weed-eating, watering, seeding/sodding, tree trimming, and more. This role is predominately outdoors- so employees must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions. The ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly is a must. SR groundskeepers must come with experience in above mentioned duties and would require limited training. Pay will be according to amount of experience. Irrigation knowledge and repairs, the ability to safely apply fertilizers and chemicals (pesticide applicators license) are all a plus.
