Locker Room Supervisor
Full Time
Must be available to work mornings (6am)
Job Summary:
The Locker Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of locker room facilities. This includes supervising staff, maintaining high standards of hygiene, managing inventory of supplies, ensuring member satisfaction, and responding to facility-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
Staff Supervision
• Schedule, train, and supervise locker room attendants.
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback or coaching.
• Ensure adequate staffing for peak hours and events.
Cleanliness & Maintenance
• Ensure locker room, showers, restrooms, sauna/steam rooms, and related areas are clean and sanitized regularly.
• Conduct routine inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Coordinate with housekeeping or maintenance departments as needed.
Guest Services
• Greet members and guests, providing a welcoming and respectful environment.
• Respond promptly and professionally to questions, requests, or concerns.
• Assist guests with lockers, towels, personal care amenities, or special accommodations.
Inventory & Supplies
• Monitor inventory of towels, toiletries, robes, and other locker room supplies.
• Place orders and manage stock to ensure items are always available and in good condition.
• Track and report usage or shortages to management.
Locker Maintenance
• Inspect lockers regularly for functionality, cleanliness
• Coordinate locker assignments
Safety & Security
• Maintain a secure environment for guests’ belongings.
• Implement and uphold safety procedures, especially around wet surfaces and spa equipment.
• Respond to emergencies or accidents and follow incident reporting procedures.
Policy Enforcement
• Ensure all locker room policies (e.g., mobile phone use, dress code, behavior) are clearly communicated and enforced tactfully.
• Handle any inappropriate behavior or violations in a professional manner.
Coordination with Other Departments
• Collaborate with fitness/spa staff, front desk, or event coordinators for smooth service.
• Prepare locker room for events or tournaments (e.g., golf, tennis).
Reporting & Documentation
• Keep records of daily operations, incident reports, staff attendance, and inventory.
• Provide reports to facility or operations management as requested.
