Bluebird Golf Management | Director of Communications Position Overview Bluebird Golf Management is seeking a Director of Communications to lead member-facing, staff-facing, and public-facing communications across its golf club portfolio, including Solina Golf Club and Columbia Country Club. This position will be responsible for creating clear, consistent, polished, and timely communication that supports the member experience, protects the brand, and helps each club operate with professionalism and clarity. This is not a traditional marketing-only role. The Director of Communications will serve as the central communication resource for Bluebird Golf, working closely with ownership, general managers, membership, golf operations, agronomy, food and beverage, events, and outside vendors to ensure that information is organized, accurate, and delivered in the right tone. Purpose of the Role Make Bluebird Golf communications more consistent, proactive, and professional across all properties. Help members understand what is happening at each club, including events, renovations, course updates, amenity changes, and operational announcements. Support membership growth and retention by improving the quality of membership materials, onboarding communications, and prospective member messaging. Protect the voice, reputation, and brand identity of Bluebird Golf and each individual club. Reduce confusion by ensuring staff, members, and leadership are aligned on major updates and club information. Key Responsibilities Member Communications Prepare, edit, schedule, and distribute regular member communications, including newsletters, announcements, event reminders, renovation updates, course condition updates, construction notices, policy updates, and operating hour changes. Ensure communications are clear, accurate, member-friendly, and consistent with the tone of each club. Help manage member expectations during renovations, closures, weather events, maintenance windows, and other operational disruptions.
