Tee Box Midland is looking for a driven, tech-forward Head Golf Professional to lead our indoor performance facility.
This isn’t a traditional club job.
This is a leadership role inside a modern, membership-based training center built around TrackMan, Sportsbox 3D, TPI screening, club fitting, and community-driven coaching.

Company Overview
Tee Box is an innovative, membership-based indoor golf player development facility that blends coaching, technology, fitness, and community. Our offerings include Trackman simulators, Sportsbox 3D motion analysis, TPI-certified movement screens, personalized Assessments, On Demand Coaching, a performance gym, club fittings and sales, and events/leagues. We are expanding nationwide and seeking dedicated, business-savvy Box Pros to lead member experience, deliver high-level coaching, and ensure operational excellence.
Position Overview
The Box Pro manages the day-to-day operations of a Tee Box facility, blending business management with player development. This role is equal parts coach, connector, and operator—responsible for memberships, Tee Box Assessments, golf instruction, club fitting, fitness integration, youth programming, and events.
Compensation
Base Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Commission: Additional earning potential through memberships, club sales, coaching, and programming
Key Responsibilities:
Membership Management – Conduct Box Assessments (TPI screens, Sportsbox 3D, Trackman), deliver onboarding sessions, manage member systems, and drive retention through proactive engagement.
Golf Instruction & On Demand Coaching – Provide coaching sessions using technology-driven feedback, offer On Demand Coaching (remote swing reviews, practice guidance).
Club Fitting & Sales – Run fittings using Trackman and industry tech, drive retail sales, and build long-term equipment relationships with members.
TBX Academy – Oversee scheduling and curriculum blending golf and fitness; collaborate with coaches to deliver best-in-class academy programs.
Events & Community Engagement – Organize leagues, outings, and showcases; host open houses and tours; foster community and growth.
Operational Excellence – Maintain facility standards, oversee Trackman/Sportsbox/gym upkeep, monitor inventory, and enforce member code of conduct.
Qualifications
5+ years golf industry experience (instruction, operations, or management)
Success in golf instruction, familiar with TPI principles and technology-driven coaching
Club fitting expertise with Trackman knowledge
PGA certification preferred, not required
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationships and community
Organized, multitasker, tech-comfortable
Able to work evenings/weekends and perform facility duties (lifting up to 25 lbs, bending, etc.)
Passion for golf, fitness, and player development

Additional preferred qualifications:
PGA Member, PGA Associate, or equivalent professional golf coaching certification preferred TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Demonstrated experience in golf instruction, player development, or performance coaching Strong working knowledge of launch monitor technology (Trackman experience strongly preferred) and video analysis tools
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with members
Comfort working independently, managing schedules, and exercising professional judgment Passion for golf performance, fitness, and continuous learning
Ability to work flexible hours based on member demand, including evenings and weekends.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
