Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in the food industry or fine dining setting.
Knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food handling practices.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
