Job Summary
Join our vibrant team as a Seasonal Lifeguard through September, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable aquatic environment for all visitors. As a lifeguard, you will be the frontline guardian of pool safety, providing vigilant supervision while delivering friendly guest services. All positions are paid, emphasizing the importance of your role in maintaining safety and enhancing guest experiences. Weekday/weekend hours through end of August and weekend availability through September required.
Responsibilities
Monitor pool areas continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents or injuries
Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations using first aid and CPR techniques
Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, and inspecting equipment to ensure optimal water quality and safety standards
Assist guests with pool access, provide information about pool rules, and deliver excellent guest services to enhance their visit
Perform regular pool cleaning duties including vacuuming, brushing walls, and maintaining surrounding deck cleanliness
Maintain accurate incident reports and log daily activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols
Collaborate with team members to uphold a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors
Skills
Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in Lifeguard, CPR and first aid
Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues confidently
Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures and basic cleaning techniques
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
Ability to perform heavy lifting when needed for pool equipment or supplies
Attention to detail in monitoring water quality and safety conditions
Physical stamina to stand, walk, or swim for extended periods during shifts
