The Foundation supports programs focused on military veterans, youth, scholarships, community initiatives, and other charitable efforts throughout Northern California. A cornerstone of the Foundation's work is PGA HOPE Northern California.
PGA HOPE, or Helping Our Patriots Everywhere, provides free golf programming to veterans and active-duty military members. PGA HOPE uses golf as a vehicle to improve physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being while creating a welcoming community for veterans.
Since 2015, PGA HOPE Northern California has served thousands of veterans through introductory golf programs led by PGA Professionals trained in adaptive golf instruction. The Foundation continues to expand PGA HOPE programming throughout Northern California to reach more veterans and provide additional opportunities for connection, community, and personal growth.
In addition to PGA HOPE, the Foundation hosts fundraising events, manages grants and scholarships, develops community partnerships, and works closely with PGA Members, donors, volunteers, veterans, and other community stakeholders to expand access to the game of golf.
