About the Role Our client, a premier golf resort renowned for its championship courses, is seeking an experienced and charismatic Head Golf Professional to lead golf operations at their esteemed facility in **Las Vegas, Nevada**. This leadership role is responsible for delivering an exceptional golf experience to members and guests, overseeing all aspects of golf instruction, club operations, and staff management. The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for the game of golf, exemplary customer service skills, and a proven ability to manage a high-volume golf facility. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all daily golf operations, including tee time management, player services, and course marshaling. Develop and implement a comprehensive golf instruction program for players of all skill levels, including private lessons, clinics, and junior programs. Manage the golf shop inventory, merchandising, and sales, ensuring profitability and appealing presentation. Supervise, train, and mentor the golf staff, including assistant professionals and starters, ensuring high standards of service. Organize and execute golf tournaments, member events, and corporate outings. Ensure compliance with club policies, rules, and regulations. Manage the club's handicap system and the preparation of tournament results. Maintain strong relationships with members and guests, ensuring satisfaction and promoting loyalty to the club in **Las Vegas, Nevada**. Collaborate with the grounds maintenance team to ensure optimal course conditions. Act as a brand ambassador for the resort, upholding its values and commitment to quality. Requirements PGA Certified Professional or equivalent certification/experience. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in golf operations, with at least 2 years in a Head Professional or Assistant Head Professional role. Demonstrated expertise in golf instruction, club fitting, and player development. Strong background in golf shop management, inventory control, and retail sales. Proven experience in event management and tournament operations. Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Proficiency in golf management software (e.g., Jonas, ForeTees) and point-of-sale systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by a resort environment in **Las Vegas, Nevada**.
