About the Role
Apple Mountain Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused, and sales-oriented Membership & Pro Shop Associate to serve as one of the primary ambassadors for our members and guests. This position combines front desk operations, membership sales, guest services, retail sales, and member engagement to help create an exceptional country club experience.
The ideal candidate is personable, organized, sales-driven, and passionate about hospitality, golf, and building lasting relationships with members and guests.
Position Responsibilities
Member & Guest Services
Welcome members and guests upon arrival and provide exceptional customer serviceManage daily member and guest check-insAnswer phones, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionallyAssist members with reservations, tee times, events, and club activitiesResolve member concerns and escalate issues when necessaryMaintain a welcoming and professional front desk environmentMembership Sales & Growth
Conduct tours of the club and facilities for prospective membersPresent membership options, benefits, and club offeringsFollow up with membership leads, prospects, and waitlist candidatesMaintain membership databases and prospect tracking systemsAssist in achieving membership growth and retention goalsPromote club events and programs to prospective and existing membersMember Relations & Retention
Build strong relationships with members and guestsSupport member onboarding and orientation programsGather member feedback and identify opportunities to improve the member experienceAssist with member appreciation events and engagement initiativesHelp drive membership satisfaction, retention, and referralsPro Shop & Retail Operations
Assist members and guests with merchandise purchasesOperate POS systems and process retail transactions accuratelyMaintain inventory displays and merchandise presentationAssist with inventory counts, receiving, and restocking merchandisePromote club merchandise and special retail offeringsMaintain cleanliness and organization throughout the Pro ShopQualifications
1-2 years of experience in hospitality, retail sales, customer service, membership sales, golf operations, country clubs, hotels, or related industriesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable conducting tours and speaking with prospective membersSales-oriented mindset with the ability to build relationships and close membership opportunitiesProfessional appearance and positive attitudeStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExperience with POS systems (Like Toast), CRM software, or membership management software preferredGolf or country club experience is a plus but not requiredSchedule Requirements
