The role of the Head Golf Coach is the implementation of program-wide goals and objectives through positive coaching on and off the course. The position is responsible for teaching and strengthening athletes' fundamental knowledge of the sport while also introducing advanced concepts. All coaches are responsible for creating and nurturing a physically and emotionally safe environment for their athletes.
In addition, the Head Golf Coach will be responsible for character development and providing direction to student-athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork in Golf. The person in this role is required to interact thoughtfully and respectfully with student-athletes, fellow coaches, staff, parents, and community as well as follow the mission of the school.
All coaches are required to get fingerprint clearance from the DOJ, as well as TB clearance before starting coaching. They have 30 days to complete all required certifications, including, but not limited to, CPR/First Aid certification, CIF - Fundamentals of Coaching Certification, Concussion Training, and Anti-Harassment Training.

Pay: $10,000 - $12,000 per season
