Hickory Hills Golf Club is seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about preparing quality food, work well in a fast-paced kitchen, and take pride in delivering a great dining experience for our members and guests.
This position works alongside our Executive Chef/Food & Beverage Director and kitchen staff to prepare lunch, dinner, banquet, and special event meals while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to club recipes and standards.
Set up and stock workstations before each shift.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner during service.
Properly store, rotate, and label food products.
Assist with food prep and daily kitchen duties.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Work with the kitchen team to provide excellent service for members, guests, golf outings, and special events.
Assist with closing duties and kitchen clean-up at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Reliable and punctual.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
