We are looking for a competent Restaurant Server to take and deliver orders. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences.
· A Server's responsibility is attending to diners before, during, and after their meals by helping them place, receive, and pay for their orders.
· Ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages
You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude
Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.
Take food orders and transmit to kitchen via computer system
Engage with customers in a friendly manner.
Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.
Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
Collect payments from tables.
Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
Help food preparation staff when necessary.
Must be able to work holidays, nights and weekends
Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff.
Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
