Located on the Treasure Coast in Port St. Lucie, Florida, this club is positioned within one of the fastest growing cities in the state. Glynlea Country Club at Wylder is set to debut in 2025, redefining private club living with a state-of-the-art 18-hole golf course designed by Jim Furyk. The golf experience will be complemented by a Pro Shop, driving range, and practice putting green. Beyond golf, the Club will also feature a full fitness facility, sports courts, multiple dining options, and a resort-style pool, creating a comprehensive lifestyle environment for its members and residents.
The Director of Lifestyles & Membership occupies a highly visible leadership role within this vibrant community. This full-time exempt position reports directly to the General Manager and is essential to driving membership growth, engagement, and the overall enhancement of the resident experience. With a competitive salary of $45,000 annually plus commissions on membership sales and bonus potential, the role offers strong earning possibilities along with a full healthcare package including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, cell phone reimbursement, and paid time off.
In this role, the Director will lead the vision and execution of innovative lifestyle programming designed to bring the community to life. From organizing signature social events, recreational activities, and unique cultural experiences, the role is focused on curating a diverse and compelling calendar that fosters meaningful connections among members and residents alike. As a key ambassador for Glynlea Country Club, the Director will cultivate a strong sense of community, creating opportunities for residents and members to connect, engage, and develop a true sense of belonging.
The Director will also be responsible for actively pursuing new membership opportunities, maintaining and nurturing the existing member base, and collaborating with various departments including Food & Beverage, Golf, and Marketing to ensure seamless and successful events and programs. This includes coordinating memberships, member communications, and overseeing staff or independent contractors involved in lifestyle activities and amenity center operations. A critical component of the role involves maintaining compliance with Club policies and upholding the integrity of membership services while supporting the clubhouse's reputation as a premier lifestyle destination.
This position demands strong leadership skills, creativity in programming, excellent organizational ability, and a proactive approach to customer service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment that values work-life balance, community engagement, and the creation of memorable experiences for members. Working both indoors and outdoors, the Director must demonstrate versatility and physical stamina to manage event logistics, community interaction, and operational responsibilities across multiple facilities.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience in lifestyle programming, membership sales or event management
CRM system experience
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
Ability to perform moderate physical work including lifting up to 20 lbs
Compliance with safety procedures, including ladder safety guidelines
Ability to develop and manage budgets
Valid driver's license
Customer service orientation
