Quail West prides itself on providing world-class facilities for our approximately 1,300 Members (690 memberships) and their guests and an extraordinary and inclusive, yet unpretentious lifestyle. Our amenities include two 18-hole Arthur Hills (and Drew Rogers) designed championship golf courses, a full practice facility, 8 clay tennis courts, 4 pickle ball courts, a recently renovated 125,000 square foot clubhouse that includes a new golf shop, casual dining room, full-service fitness facility and sports pavilion. Position Summary
The Membership & Lifestyles Director is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract and retain members. This includes, overseeing membership sales, marketing initiatives, and member relations. This position must effectively collaborate with all departments to enhance member experiences. Additionally, this position may organize events and activities to engage current members and foster a sense of community within the club.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Chief Operating Officer / General Manager
Compensation
The compensation for the Membership & Lifestyles Director will be commensurate with experience, and will also include an annual bonus opportunity, company-paid disability and life insurance benefits, and a generous PTO policy.
Requirements
Job Duties:
Maintain member records and contact management system.
Implement strategies to attract new members, retain existing members, and to increase overall membership satisfaction.
Develop and Implement new member activities, such as Orientation & Ambassador programs.
Work in liaison with QW Realtors to manage membership sales, including providing tours and information.
Build and maintain strong relationships with members, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed promptly.
Develop and implement programs to enhance the overall lifestyle experience for club members, to include educational seminars and engagement activities.
Manage the department budget, monitor expenses, and maximize revenue opportunities while maintaining financial objectives.
Supervise and provide guidance to department staff.
Work closely with other department heads and management to align membership and lifestyle initiatives with the clubs vision and goals.
Monitor industry trends and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in membership services and programming.
Ensure member compliance with club policies, regulations, and standards related to membership operations and customer service.
Effectively communicates with management staff and associates to increase knowledge of membership goals, membership satisfaction, membership issues, and membership activities.
Attend and contribute to monthly Committee Meetings.
Requirements:
A degree in recreation, hospitality, sales or communication field is preferred
Minimum 5 years' experience in the Club business coordinating and promoting member programming desired
Prior experience with private club residential community a plus
FL Notary Public is required
Strong leadership skills is required
Must have experience in conflict resolution
Qualifications:
Ability to read and speak English in order to perform the duties of the job
Serviced -Oriented, with ability to maintain a high standard of excellence and professionalism
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Organized and able to multitask on different projects
Positive, friendly disposition
Clear and effective communications skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent decision-making and problem solving skills
