Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our Maintenance Crew. This role is vital in ensuring the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of our golf course. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and/or groundskeeping, with hands-on experience or the willingness to learn a new skill. Carolina Colours Golf Club is a 18-hole course with bent grass greens, 419 fairways and rough.

Looking for a committed individual with a strong work ethic to join our crew. Training is provided on every piece of equipment and pay is negotiable for the right person. You'll work closely with our experienced management team, gain exposure to course operations, and receive mentorship and training that support your progression in the industry if you so choose.

Duties

Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks. Perform landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and irrigation of the course. Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair and report to superintendent. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment used in maintenance activities. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Skills

Proficient in using power tools such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers. Helpful but not required, we will train the right candiate Knowledge of the game of golf is extremely helpful but not required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality. Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks. Attitude is everything. We work as a team on most projects and the perfect candidate will be one that takes direction well and can work with anyone. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration and problem-solving.

This position requires a set Tuesday–Saturday work schedule every week. This schedule is non-negotiable and will not be adjusted, rotated, or changed throughout the year.

The Tuesday–Saturday schedule is an essential requirement of this position and is designed to ensure consistent staffing while allowing our maintenance team to receive two full consecutive days off each week, particularly during the busy summer season.

Applicants must be available and willing to work Tuesday through Saturday on a permanent, year-round basis. If you are unable to commit to this fixed schedule, this position will not be a suitable fit.

Daily start and end times may be adjusted slightly following the November time change to accommodate seasonal daylight and course operations; however, the Tuesday–Saturday workdays will remain unchanged.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
