MEADOWBROOK GOLF CLUB Golf Course Maintenance – Grounds Crew POSITION OVERVIEW Meadowbrook Golf Club is seeking dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented individuals to join our Golf Course Maintenance Team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the appearance, playability, and overall condition of Meadowbrook Golf Club. Team members will work under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent and will assist with the daily maintenance of our golf courses and grounds. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy working outdoors, and are willing to learn the skills necessary to maintain a quality golf facility. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Mowing greens, tees, fairways, approaches, and roughOperating golf course maintenance equipment and machineryTrimming and weed eating throughout the propertyDaily setup of greens, tees, and other playing areasChanging hole locations and maintaining course accessoriesBunker maintenance and rakingFilling divots and repairing turf areasRemoving trash, debris, branches, and other materials from the golf courseUsing hand tools and small powered equipmentAssisting with irrigation and general turf maintenance when neededPerforming other golf course and grounds maintenance duties as assignedEmployees are expected to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team to accomplish the daily goals established by the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent. Applicants must: Be dependable, punctual, and reliableHave reliable transportationBe willing and able to work early morning hoursBe available for some weekends and holidaysBe comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditionsBe capable of performing physically demanding and repetitive tasksBe able to lift approximately 50 poundsFollow instructions and established safety proceduresWork effectively with limited supervisionMaintain a professional attitude around golfers, coworkers, and guestsEXPERIENCE Previous golf course maintenance, landscaping, turfgrass, equipment operation, or grounds maintenance experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and a desire to learn golf course maintenance operations. ABOUT MEADOWBROOK GOLF CLUB Meadowbrook Golf Club is a 36-hole public golf facility in Lubbock, Texas, featuring the Canyon Course and Creek Course. Our maintenance team is responsible for preparing and maintaining both courses each day and plays a critical role in providing a quality golf experience for our customers.
