Host/Hostess

Harrison Meadows Country Club, located in Harrison, NY, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a seasonal part-time host/Hostess! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour BOE

Position Summary:

Responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and professional first impression for members and guests at Harrison Meadows Country Club. The Hostess manages the greeting and seating process, maintains an accurate seating rotation, assists with reservations and guest requests, and supports the restaurant team in providing an exceptional country club dining experience.

The ideal candidate is personable, polished, organized, dependable, and able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, professional first impressionManage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments using the POS or reservation systemEscort guests to tables and present menus in a timely mannerMaintain an accurate seating chart to ensure balanced service among serversMonitor dining room activity and communicate wait times effectivelyAnswer phones, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiriesAssist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance areaCoordinate with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flowHandle guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when necessaryThank guests as they depart and invite them to returnBenefits & Other Compensation:
