Job post summary Date posted: February 13, 2026 Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour Job description: Golf Shop Attendant – Job Position Summary: The Golf Shop Attendant plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service to members and guests. This position is responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations of the golf shop, including retail sales, tee time management, and maintaining a welcoming, organized environment. Key Responsibilities: • Greet members and guests warmly, providing exceptional customer service. • Assist customers with purchases of golf merchandise, apparel, and equipment. • Operate point-of-sale (POS) system for sales transactions and tee time check-ins. • Manage tee sheet reservations and coordinate with starters/marshals on daily play. • Answer phones, provide course information, and assist with scheduling tee times. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop and merchandise displays. • Restock shelves, fold apparel, and assist with receiving and tagging new inventory. • Promote upcoming events, tournaments, and merchandise specials. • Communicate effectively with other golf operations staff to ensure smooth daily operations. • Enforce club rules and policies in a professional manner. • Perform opening and closing duties, including balancing the register and securing the shop. Qualifications: • Previous customer service or retail experience preferred (golf industry experience a plus). • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude. • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. • Basic computer and POS system skills. • Knowledge of golf and golf products is helpful but not required. • Must be reliable and punctual. Work Schedule: • Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings. • Seasonal and year-round positions may be available. Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand for extended periods. • Light lifting (up to 30 lbs) for stocking and merchandise handling. Cart attendant/Bag drop attendant • Tasked with attention to bag drop. • Friendly warm welcome, and a warm helpful see you next time come back and see us. • Handling customers bags on and off carts, wiping down customers golf clubs after the round of golf (cash tips are possible). • Cleaning, prepping, and staging the carts used for play. • Picking the driving range, cleaning range balls, lifting up to 50lbs. • Changing of garbage bin bags. • Changing water coolers on the course. • Keeping work area nice and neat. • Looking/acting in professional manner while being the front line of customer service. • Ensure no outside alcohol/coolers are brought onto the facility.
