Sparrows Point Country Club, located in Dundalk, MD, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for an Outside Golf Services team member! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Cart Attendant Duties: Greet arriving guests, assist with unloading clubs, and stage carts for departureMaintain the cart fleet — clean, fuel/charge, inspect, and stage carts dailyAssist guests with club cleaning and bag storage upon completing their roundReturn and organize pull carts and rental equipment after each use Golf Operations Support: Support the pro shop team with daily operational tasks as directed by managementAssist with setup and breakdown for tournaments, outings, leagues, and special eventsCommunicate guest feedback and on-course conditions to the golf operations teamCoordinate with all departments to deliver a seamless guest experience Facility Cleanliness & Upkeep: Maintain cleanliness of the golf shop, cart barn, bag drop area, and surrounding groundsRegularly clean and sanitize cartsEmpty trash receptacles throughout the course and facility as neededEnsure the bag drop, putting green area, and practice facilities are tidy and presentableReport maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate staff Qualifications & Requirements: Experience in golf, outdoor recreation, or hospitality is preferred but not required — we train the right peopleMust be a people person — friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic about guest serviceCoachable and eager to learn; receptive to feedback and willing to grow with the teamAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 40 poundsComfortable standing, walking, and being on the move throughout the shiftReliable, punctual, and dependable — the course counts on youBasic communication skills; ability to interact positively with guests and team membersValid driver's license or ability to safely operate a golf cart preferredMust be 17 years of age or older Schedule & Availability: This is a seasonal, part-time position. Candidates must have a flexible schedule and be available for any of the following:Opening shifts (early morning start — the course waits for no one)Closing shifts (evening close and cart barn shutdown)Weekends (Saturday & Sunday — our busiest days)Holidays and peak season datesSeason typically runs Spring through NovemberHours will vary based on course operations and demand This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.
