Job Title: Grounds Crew Member Location: Shaker Heights Country Club – Shaker Heights, OH Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour Schedule: Full-time seasonal About Us Founded in 1913, Shaker Heights Country Club is one of Northeast Ohio’s most historic and respected private clubs. Designed by legendary golf course architect Donald Ross, the course reflects Ross’s signature philosophy: strategic design that challenges golfers through natural routing, thoughtful green complexes, and meticulously crafted sand traps. For more than a century, the club has preserved the timeless character of Ross’s original vision while evolving with modern standards of course conditioning. Known for its classic layout and an emphasis on strategic bunker placement, Shaker Heights Country Club offers members a pure, traditional golf experience rooted in history. Located in Shaker Heights, the club takes pride in maintaining championship-level playing conditions and upholding a legacy of excellence both on and off the course. Grounds team members play a vital role in preserving this historic property and ensuring the course reflects the tradition and quality that have defined the club since 1913. Responsibilities ● Perform daily golf course maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and blowing ● Rake and maintain bunkers ● Assist with irrigation and hand watering ● Set up and break down course equipment and accessories ● Maintain landscape beds, trees, and clubhouse grounds ● Assist with course improvement and renovation projects ●Follow all safety procedures and equipment guidelines ● Support the golf operations team in delivering excellent playing conditions Qualifications ● No experience required; golf course or landscaping experience is a plus ● Strong work ethic and attention to detail ● Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed ● Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions ● Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment ● Interest in golf, turf, or outdoor work is preferred but not required Benefits ● Competitive hourly pay ● Opportunities for overtime ● Uniforms provided ● Golf privileges ● Opportunities for advancement in the turf or golf industry ● Training and skill development How to Apply Submit your resume and 1-3 sentences about why you would be a good fit for this position through Indeed.com Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
