Role Description The Golf Instructor is a full-time or part-time, on-site role based in Ship Bottom, NJ, responsible for providing individual and group golf lessons to players of varying ages and skill levels. Daily responsibilities include assessing player abilities, designing lesson plans, demonstrating proper techniques, and offering clear, constructive feedback to support skill development. The instructor will manage junior golf programs, clinics, and training sessions, ensuring a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Additional tasks include advising on golf equipment selection, maintaining practice areas, scheduling lessons, and communicating with clients and families regarding progress and program offerings. The role also involves collaborating with other staff to support events, promotional activities, and continuous improvement of instructional services. Qualifications Strong skills in Golf Instruction and Training, with the ability to teach fundamentals, advanced techniques, and course management effectively.Extensive knowledge of Golf and Golf Equipment, including fitting basics and guidance on appropriate gear for different skill levels.Experience working with Junior Golf participants, creating age-appropriate lesson plans and fostering a supportive, encouraging environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and build positive relationships with learners and families.Demonstrated ability to manage group sessions, maintain safety standards, and adapt coaching methods to diverse learning styles.Previous experience as a golf instructor, coach, or teaching professional; relevant certifications (e.g., PGA or similar) are beneficial.Reliable time management and organizational skills, including lesson scheduling and record-keeping.Ability to work on-site in Beach Haven, NJ, including weekends or evenings as needed to meet client demand.
