Golf Instructor - Swing Loose Indoor Golf Location: Holmdel, New Jersey Position Type: Part-time / Flexible Schedule About Swing LooseSwing Loose Indoor Golf is a premier year-round golf facility in Holmdel, New Jersey, featuring nine luxury hitting bays equipped with TrackMan technology. Our facility serves golfers of all ages and skill levels through individual play, memberships, leagues, events, junior programs, and professional instruction. We are looking to add knowledgeable, personable, and motivated golf instructors who want to develop their own lesson business within an established indoor facility. Position OverviewGolf instructors at Swing Loose will provide private lessons, group instruction, clinics, and other golf-development programs using TrackMan technology and video-based feedback. Instructors will have flexibility in setting their schedules and establishing their own lesson rates within reasonable market expectations. Instructors must clearly communicate to students that Swing Loose charges a separate $40 bay fee for each hour of lesson time, in addition to the instructor’s lesson fee. For example, if an instructor charges $80 for a one-hour lesson, the student’s total cost would be $120: the $80 instruction fee plus the $40 Swing Loose bay fee. ResponsibilitiesProvide engaging, professional instruction to golfers of varying ages and skill levelsAssess each student’s swing, goals, experience, and areas for improvementUse TrackMan data, video analysis, and other available technology effectivelyDevelop personalized lesson plans and communicate feedback in an understandable wayMaintain a dependable lesson schedule and arrive prepared for all appointmentsBuild and manage positive, long-term relationships with studentsClearly disclose the separate $40 hourly bay fee before lessons are bookedCoordinate lesson scheduling and bay availability with Swing LooseMaintain a professional, welcoming, and patient teaching styleRespect the facility, equipment, employees, members, and customersFollow all Swing Loose operating procedures and safety standardsHelp promote instructional opportunities, clinics, programs, and eventsRepresent the Swing Loose brand professionally inside and outside the facility Instructor OpportunitiesDepending on experience, availability, and customer demand, instructors may have opportunities to provide: Private one-on-one lessonsJunior golf instructionBeginner programsSmall-group lessons and clinicsWomen’s golf programsCorporate clinics and event instructionTrackMan combine sessions and player assessmentsOn-course strategy and simulator-based course managementSeasonal camps and specialized programsLesson packages and ongoing player-development plans Preferred QualificationsPrevious golf instruction, coaching, or competitive playing experienceStrong understanding of golf swing fundamentals and player developmentFamiliarity with TrackMan or similar golf-analysis technologyPGA or LPGA membership, associate status, or recognized teaching certification is preferred but not necessarily requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPatient, encouraging, and adaptable teaching styleProfessional appearance and conductReliable scheduling and time-management skillsAbility and willingness to develop a consistent student base Compensation and Lesson PricingInstructors may establish their own lesson rates, subject to reasonable market positioning and approval from Swing Loose management. Students are responsible for paying: The instructor’s established lesson fee; andA separate $40 Swing Loose bay fee for each hour of lesson timeAll lesson pricing, scheduling procedures, payment collection, cancellations, packages, and customer communication must follow Swing Loose’s approved instructional policies.
