Role Description The Service Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bristol, VA. The Service Technician will perform routine and complex maintenance and repair on heavy-duty trucks and related equipment, including inspections, diagnostics, and corrective work. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, completing service orders accurately, and following safety and quality standards. The role also involves communicating clearly with supervisors and parts personnel, supporting field service needs as required, and providing courteous, professional customer service to drivers and fleet managers. The Service Technician will work collaboratively with the service team to help deliver consistent vehicle uptime and reliable performance for TTG customers. Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills for trucks and related equipment.Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.Candidates should possess Field Service experience and the ability to perform work at customer locations when needed.Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, including clear communication and a professional, solution-oriented approach.Relevant technical training or certification in diesel technology, automotive, or heavy equipment is preferred.Experience working in a dealership, fleet, or commercial truck service environment is beneficial.Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and work orders, and to use diagnostic tools and equipment safely.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL or willingness to obtain a CDL is a plus.Ability to lift and move heavy components, stand for extended periods, and follow all safety procedures.
