We are seeking an experienced, service-driven Dining & Beverage Manager to lead our member dining and beverage operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about private club service and thrives in a dynamic, member-focused environment.
Position Summary
The Dining & Beverage Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and daily operation of LedgeRock Golf Club's member dining and beverage program. This role ensures exceptional service standards, operational excellence, and a consistently elevated dining experience across all food and beverage outlets.
As a hands-on leader, the Dining & Beverage Manager oversees the Club's dining rooms, bars, patios, and seasonal outlets while working closely with the Executive Chef and Clubhouse Manager to deliver an exceptional private club experience. This position is responsible for developing the Front of House team, maintaining service standards, overseeing beverage operations, and creating memorable experiences for members and their guests.
Essential ResponsibilitiesMember Experience
Deliver an exceptional and personalized dining experience that exceeds member expectations.
Build meaningful relationships with members and guests through genuine hospitality.
Recognize members by name whenever possible and anticipate their needs.
Engage with members throughout service to ensure complete satisfaction.
Resolve member concerns promptly, professionally, and effectively.
Foster a culture of hospitality that reflects the values and standards of LedgeRock Golf Club.
Dining Operations
Oversee the daily operations of all member dining venues, including Oak & Iron, the Clubhouse dining outlets, Greenbriar, bars, patios, and seasonal operations.
Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures.
Manage reservations, seating, dining room flow, and service timing.
Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
Ensure consistency in service execution across all meal periods.
Coordinate daily operations between the Front and Back of House teams.
Continuously evaluate and improve service standards.
Beverage Operations
Lead all bar operations and beverage service throughout the Club.
Maintain and enhance the Club's wine, beer, cocktail, and spirits program.
Ensure beverage quality, consistency, and presentation meet Club standards.
Manage beverage ordering, receiving, inventory, and cost controls.
Conduct monthly beverage inventories and analyze variances.
Maintain compliance with all Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board regulations and Club policies.
Collaborate on seasonal cocktail menus, wine dinners, tastings, and member beverage events.
Leadership & Staff Development
Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop Front of House team members.
Lead daily line-ups and pre-shift meetings.
Coach, mentor, and develop employees through ongoing training and performance feedback.
Conduct performance evaluations and assist with employee development plans.
Foster a positive, professional, and accountable workplace culture.
Ensure all team members consistently uphold the Club's hospitality and service standards.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
Develop staff schedules that align with business demands and labor budgets.
Monitor labor costs, payroll, and staffing efficiencies.
Assist in developing and managing departmental budgets.
Control beverage costs through purchasing, inventory management, and proper procedures.
Review daily sales reports and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
Support revenue growth through exceptional member experiences and beverage programming.
Member Events & Banquets
Oversee dining and beverage operations for member events, tournaments, weddings, banquets, wine dinners, and Club functions.
Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure flawless event execution.
Coordinate closely with the Events and Culinary teams.
Assist in planning specialty dining events and curated beverage experiences.
Operational Excellence
Maintain and enforce all Club service standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections of dining rooms, bars, patios, storage areas, and service stations.
Monitor equipment condition and coordinate maintenance as needed.
Promote continuous improvement and operational consistency across all outlets.
QualificationsRequired
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of progressive Food & Beverage management experience.
Previous leadership experience in a private club, luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or resort preferred.
Strong understanding of dining room operations, beverage management, and luxury hospitality.
Proven leadership, coaching, and team development experience.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Strong financial acumen, including labor management and beverage cost control.
Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and Club events.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
Private Club experience strongly preferred.
Wine certification (WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, Society of Wine Educators, or equivalent) preferred.
Pennsylvania RAMP Certification.
ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification.
Experience with Jonas Encore or similar hospitality software.
