Position Summary
Shackamaxon Country Club is seeking an energetic and service-focused Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Club's dining outlets, banquet events, and member service experiences. This individual will work closely with the Executive Chef and Club leadership team to ensure exceptional service standards, operational efficiency, and member satisfaction.
The Food & Beverage Manager will lead front-of-house operations, supervise and develop team members, support event execution, and help drive a positive and engaging dining experience throughout the Club.
Essential Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage service areas, including dining rooms, bars, patios, and banquet functions.Lead, train, coach, and develop front-of-house team members to ensure exceptional service standards.Schedule staff and manage labor resources to meet operational needs and financial goals.Maintain high standards of member and guest service while fostering a hospitality-focused culture.Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure seamless communication and execution of service.Oversee banquet and special event operations, ensuring successful execution from setup through service.Monitor inventory levels and assist with beverage ordering and cost control initiatives.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.Handle member feedback and service recovery opportunities professionally and promptly.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and achieving food and beverage financial goals.Participate in member events, tournaments, holiday functions, and special Club activities.
Qualifications
2+ years of management experience in food and beverage, hospitality, restaurant, hotel, resort, or private club operations.Strong leadership and team development skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Experience managing staff schedules, service standards, and guest satisfaction.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.Knowledge of food and beverage operations, inventory management, and cost controls.Banquet and event experience preferred.Private club experience preferred but not required.TIPS Certification and/or ServSafe Certification preferred.
