Huntingdon Valley Country Club is seeking an energetic and dedicated Banquet Server to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced staff to deliver exceptional service at events and ensure a memorable guest experience. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a friendly, professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
Set up event spaces, including tablecloths, place settings, table arrangements, and buffet stationsProvide tray service by delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to guestsServe food and beverages in a timely and organized manner, following supervisor direction to ensure consistencyRespond promptly and courteously to guest requestsMaintain table service by refilling beverages, clearing plates, and replenishing utensilsAssist with post-event cleanup, including breakdown, inventory, and proper food storageQualifications & Requirements
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relationsStrong communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak EnglishAbility to meet physical demands, including standing for long periods, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing stairsAbility to lift and carry up to 25 lbsProfessional appearance with strong attention to cleanliness and groomingFlexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust be at least 18 years oldHigh school diploma or equivalent required; prior banquet or fast-paced service experience preferredReliable transportation requiredWhy Join Us?
