Wellness Attendant
We are looking for an outstanding Wellness Attendant. If you are interested in working in a beautiful private country club with excellent service and people, then consider Big Canyon. Must be able to work part time including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities
Creating a lasting, positive impression upon members and guests
Maintaining a confident and approachable appearance to create rapport with members and guests
Conducting oneself in a professional manner to reflect the high standards of the Big Canyon Country Club
Expectations
Welcoming our members by name and answering the phone in a friendly and courteous manner
Booking reservations for all wellness outlets and responding to all inquiries in a timely manner
Providing members with sincere advice and obliging recommendations in regards to their wellness goals
Maintaining a clean and filled gym floor, amenities and fruit/beverage station
Learning and promoting the club’s services, events, facilities, and amenities and be able to direct members accordingly
Maintaining spa area including lockers and reservations
Updating group exercise log sheet and communicating any class changes clearly to members
Maintaining a stocked, tidy, and clean work area at all times
Assisting the wellness team however they need and upholding flexibility with scheduling
Responding to and providing aid if you are properly trained in medical or other emergencies
Ability to multi-task in a faced paced environment
Minimum Qualifications
Prior club or hospitality experience preferred
Previous gym experience preferred
Previous customer service experience required
Must have be able to quickly learn and adapt to our POS System
Available to work on all holidays and weekends
Ability to perform physical job duties such as carrying towels, moving weights, & being on feet for extended periods of time
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
Maintaining a pleasant, polite manner as well as a neat and clean appearance
Work cooperatively and professionally with other departments
Possess a mature, professional demeanor to interact with staff and members
