This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate of 16 dollars per hour plus tips. The Barista position involves preparing and selling a variety of coffee drinks such as espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos, adhering to standard recipes and preparation techniques to ensure quality and consistency. The role requires a blend of technical skills in beverage preparation and interpersonal skills to greet and serve guests in a friendly and energetic manner. The Barista works closely with the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager and the Food & Beverage Supervisor to maintain high-quality service, efficient operations, and a clean and safe work environment.
This job demands a high level of customer orientation and responsiveness, strong team-building abilities, and a positive attitude. Team members working 30 or more hours weekly are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and life insurance plans after 60 days of employment. Additionally, full-time employees accrue paid time off at a rate of 120 hours annually and receive seven paid holidays each year. Part-time staff can accrue paid sick leave according to state guidelines. All employees aged 21 and over may join the company’s 401(k) plan after 30 days of service. The work environment is a combination of indoor and outdoor settings, where staff frequently interact with guests, use coffee beverage equipment, and occasionally work in weather-exposed areas. This role is physically active, requiring standing, walking, and handling items up to 20 pounds.
