We are currently seeking a dedicated Expeditor to join our full-time team within the Food and Beverage department at Lyric at RidgeGate. This role is critical in ensuring seamless food service operations and upholding the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and timely delivery. The position offers an hourly wage of $15.16 plus tips, reflecting our commitment to rewarding talent and dedication.
The Expeditor functions as the vital link between the Culinary team and Food & Beverage staff, guaranteeing that each dish meets our strict criteria for taste, portion size, and aesthetics before reaching our guests. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Expeditor will play a pivotal role in maintaining efficient communication among team members, promoting a positive work environment, and facilitating an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
This role demands a thorough understanding of each menu item, including ingredients and allergen awareness, to ensure responsibility and attentiveness in food service. The Expeditor also supervises the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the servers, ensuring accuracy and promptness. The position involves maintaining an impeccably clean and organized food line and food service areas and ensuring all opening and closing Server Assistant side work is completed efficiently and to company standards.

This full-time position comes with a comprehensive benefits package that includes eligibility for the company's medical, dental, and life insurance plans after 60 days of employment for those working 30 or more hours weekly. Team members also accrue paid time off at a rate of 120 hours per year, are entitled to seven paid holidays annually, and have access to a 401(k) plan after just 30 days of service. Part-time employees receive paid sick leave in accordance with state regulations.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One year high-volume restaurant experience preferred
Must meet the state and federal minimum age requirement for serving alcohol, if applicable
Current Food Handlers Card
Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions safely and accurately with minimal supervision within two weeks after hire
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
must be able to calculate discounts and percentages
Ability to understand and implement BSRG dining standards
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memorandums
Ability to communicate positively and effectively with team members about job tasks and responsibilities
